Finch is a startup company specializing in digital transformation services for its various clients. Currently, Finch's focus is on the implementation of technology, particularly AI, in healthcare services through digitalization. Finch aims to develop several SaaS platforms to facilitate development and deployment processes due to its cloud-based systems.
Business and Product Needs Analysis
This involves approaching the business model that Finch is either planning or currently implementing to ensure alignment with the company's vision and mission. The approach is carried out by engaging with several key stakeholders who play important roles as top-level managers within the company.
Additionally, several products are being developed to support the effectiveness of inbound and outbound marketing processes. In this product development process, two-way communication is established with the sales and marketing teams to gain insights into ongoing marketing activities. Furthermore, information is gathered on key factors that can enhance the user experience in the design of the upcoming features.
Some of the products currently being developed are in the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) version. This approach is taken to test the product with real users in the market with the goal of obtaining user feedback, which can then be used to iterate and improve product features. In the MVP version, only a few basic features are included, focusing on the core function or value of the product to be launched
Additionally, during the MVP design development, intensive discussions were held with Finch's internal team to ensure that the understanding of the various product types aligns with their needs. This is particularly crucial when developing products for medical and healthcare services. There are many unfamiliar terms in the medical field that need to be understood to ensure that the features developed meet the primary objectives.
Identifying and analyzing competitors within the same industry or with similar business models is a key step. One of the products to be developed is a SaaS parallel dialer software, where its primary function is to support inbound and outbound marketing processes via phone. This product is capable of making simultaneous calls at the same time.
Some products similar to Finch Parallel Dialer include Elto, Nooks.AI, Orum, and MonsterConnect. These competitor products serve as benchmarks for product design and analysis of strengths and weaknesses for future product iterations.
Designing ideation for the products to be developed. Some of the products to be built include the SaaS Parallel Dialer, FinchCare Mobile Apps for Doctor Appointments, and Finch Claim Dashboard. During this ideation phase, communication is crucial to ensure that all the features being designed align with the goals and expectations of the stakeholders as Product Owners. In designing the MVP for the three products developed by Finch, several key features serve as the foundation for the design of each product. The process I carried out for all three included designing wireframes, design guidelines, UI mockups, and prototypes.

While working and collaborating with Finch to design their MVPs, I successfully contributed to the design of three key products and assisted in creating several landing pages to support their marketing activities. All the designs were handed off to the developers for further development to launch them into the market and be ready for end-user user.
